AdaCore is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our international Sales team.

Job description: 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing account management strategies for an existing portfolio of Aerospace & Defense accounts;
  • Cultivating and expanding existing Aerospace & Defense business and client relationships;
  • Growing existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities;
  • Ensuring a high retention rate amongst existing customers;
  • Coordinating with internal teams to deliver custom solutions that meet clients' needs;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes;
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry;
  • Researching and qualifying new leads through a number of channels;
  • Qualifying Aerospace & Defense prospects' needs and identifying sales opportunities;
  • Following up and contacting marketing generated leads;
  • Following up systematically on selected renewals and identifying cross/up-sell opportunities or red flags;
  • Collaborating with the marketing team, sales administration, technical account managers and product managers

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years account management experience;
  • 5 years sales experience selling software-based products and services;
  • 5 years experience selling to the DoD, US services, and major US Aerospace & Defense prime contractors;
  • A strong interest in the US Aerospace and Defense ecosystem;
  • Experience managing large account portfolios with 7 figures turned over;
  • Demonstrated track record of closing 7 figure deals;
  • strong customer service and project management skills;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software;
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented;
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize;
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
