Programmatic marketing, put simply, is the process of automating the buying and selling of digital ads in real-time. Programmatic in-housing takes this one step further by allowing advertisers to fully own the technology stack and skills required in this process.

You will work with a carefully selected, diverse and globally distributed team from customer success, engineering, data science, design, product and more. We are highly motivated and aligned in our quest to disrupt the multi-billion dollar ad-tech industry.

We would like you to be part of our journey, as our Product Owner (Interactive Ads) (m/f/d).

 

The Role

As our Product Owner (Interactive Ads), you will report directly to our CEO. Your primary focus will be developing new interactive ad units and other ad user experience products as MVPs, quickly prove their value in a/b tests and then develop them to be rolled out in a scalably way.  Hence, your previous adtech experience will be vital for you to create an immediate impact from the beginning of working at Kayzen . Apart from your primary tasks, you will be involved in other product innovation initiatives. We really like people who have a growth mindset and contribute new ideas to further build our success!

Since our CEO is based in Berlin and other key product and customer success team members are located globally, we are open to a remote setup of this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and business stakeholders to understand explicit and latent needs to build interactive ads products

  • Run and own the product iteration process by working closely with all stakeholders to accelerate pace and quality of execution 

  • Engage closely with engineering and design teams to help determine the best technical and user experience implementation and reasonable execution schedule

  • Being hands-on and ability to go deep into problem solving on both technical and business fronts

  • Quickly roll out MVPs and test them in the market and use your data-first mindset to judge the results and iterate based on those outcomes

 

Key Qualifications

  • Prior Product Owner experience in ad-tech space

  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

  • Market knowledge of the digital advertising industry and understanding of advertising technology stack like real-time bidding, ad serving, programmatic is a big plus

  • Astute prioritization and decision-making skills.

  • Great work ethics,results orientation, persuasiveness and high level of initiative and assertiveness

  • Basic understanding of HTML is a big plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate cross-functionally

  • Enjoys working in a start-up environment
