SameSystem is a Danish software company, founded in 2008. We develop the leading Retail Workforce Solution on the market, with an intuitive online interface, first-mover technologies as iBeacon and E-signature, unlimited free support and market-leading integration. All the right tools to optimise retail business - made for retailers, by retailers.

As a result, we continue to see our customers growing and expanding, both on existing and new markets, and we are looking for new and capable colleagues to join our fast-growing company.

Your role in the Company

As a Product Manager, you will be part of a 4-man team that sets the vision for the SameSystem core product. Assess the market, determine the customers’ needs, and develop new ideas to ensure SameSystem is the natural choice for the retail industry.

The Product team works strategically, tactically and operationally. This means that you will be involved in the entire production chain – from the initial idea to the final execution.

Besides focusing on the core product, you will facilitate the external elements of the product, which amongst other things include making sure that the system automatically calculates all labour laws and bonuses that our customers adhere to.

You will receive the necessary information about the labour laws and bonuses of all the markets from our Country Managers in the respective countries. It is then your responsibility to communicate exactly how the system should function to our development team in Lithuania which consists of 25 dedicated and talented people.

You will communicate with all areas of the company and refer to the Head of Product.

Your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Build the product road-map with the Product Team.
  • Prepare the projects for the labour law calculations together with the product team and its designers.
  • Coordinate our partner relationships – from visiting the partner to providing the project details.
  • Create requirement specifications for development projects.
  • Keep track of the development team and assist them if necessary.

Your profile:

You must possess a blend of business knowledge and technical savviness and be able to see the bigger picture and think out-of-the-box, in order to apply the proper solution. You are able to bring new and innovative ideas to the table.

With a desire to understand our go-to-market, the retail industry, you are able to predict and deliver what our customers really need. In all the ideas you push forward, the user experience is in the front seat – we provide complex solutions in a streamlined and intuitive format.

You are diligent in everything you do, but also appreciate that things can move fast, and sometimes you have to meet short deadlines. Flexibility is a natural part of your DNA, and you are able to stay calm and collected in hectic situations.

With a flair for project management, you are able to bring new initiatives to our internal workflow to further improve it.

Mandatory qualifications:

 

  • You are highly proficient in writing and speaking English
  • You have a flair for IT software
  • You are able to comprehend complex tasks and requirements
  • You understand what a good user experience entails, and deliver intuitive solutions

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • You have experience with project management and scheduling
  • You have experience from retail, or service-providers to retail
  • You have experience with SaaS solutions

Office and office hours

You will be working at our office situated in Værløse, Ballerupvej 62. Great office facilities in beautiful surroundings. Catering service with the possibility to eat at outdoor areas. Your office hours will be from 08.00 till 16.00, Monday to Friday, but we allow flexibility. We have a development office in Lithuania, so expect traveling up to four weeks a year.
