Job description:

You will be responsible for contributing to team revenue objectives, working with both sales reps and technical account managers, qualifying prospects' needs and identifying sales opportunities, cultivating and expanding existing business and client relationships, and ensuring a high retention rate amongst our existing customers. You will do this by:

  • Following up and contacting marketing-generated leads;
  • Answering incoming, unidentified prospects' inquiries in the A&D markets;
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers, based on research;
  • Researching and qualifying new leads through a number of channels, including social media;
  • Following up systematically with new accounts;
  • Following up systematically with selected renewals and identifying cross/upsell opportunities or red flags;
  • Following up recently closed accounts;
  • Collaborating with the wider commercial organization (marketing, sales administration, technical account managers, and product managers).

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 yrs minimum Inside Sales experience;
  • Experience selling software-based products and services;
  • Experience selling to the DoD, US services, and major US A&D prime contractors, preferred.;
  • A strong interest in the US A&D ecosystem;
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure;
  • Strong customer service and project management skills;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Skilled writer, presenter, and public speaker;
  • Highly organized, detailed, and solution-oriented;
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize;
  • Ability to achieve target;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software such as Salesforce. 

Compensation:

  • Primary Location: Eastern Seaboard
  • Primary Location Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
