AdaCore is looking for its new HR Generalist intern or apprentice.
Everything we do at AdaCore is centered around helping developers build the safest, most secure open-source software.
For over 20 years, we've worked with global leaders across avionics, aerospace and defense industries, building tools and providing services that ease the complex and difficult process of developing high-integrity software. As the need for truly secure and reliable applications expands into industries such as automotive, medical, energy, and IOT, we’re advancing our time-tested technologies to bring expertise and services to help a whole new generation of developers.
Our 120 experts worldwide in the US (New York, Lexington), France (Paris, Toulouse, Grenoble and Vannes), the UK and Estonia all play a role in developing bleeding edge technologies to meet the highest grade of software development.
Joining AdaCore is about joining a culture of innovation, openness, collaboration and dependability, which defines how we work together, with our customers and partners.
AdaCore’s teams are geographically distributed and have a multi-cultural spirit where expertise and working together as peers are at the core. In their flat, low ceremony, matrix-oriented organization (many of them wear several hats) it is not uncommon for a colleague to coordinate many talented teammates spanning 3 generations. Relations are fluid and very collaborative, communication is open and flowing.
So, AdaCore as a multicultural company with employees all over the world, needs to strengthen its HR team and provide employees new ambitious HR policies which correspond to our internal & external challenges.
In that context, the HR intern or apprentice will be responsible for the following:
Recruiting: participate in the hiring process worldwide (job postings, sourcing, interviews, contracts etc.) and the onboarding process (prepare the integration plan, guide the new hire through the integration process)
Training: gather the annual training requests, organize training, manage the administrative part, design new internal training via our internal training tool etc.
HR Project: participate in the ongoing HR projects and be proactive on new HR projects.
Administrative: update employee information in our internal databases (contract details, healthcare, leaves, administrative information etc.)
And more generally, as a member of the HR Team, you will perform various tasks and support the HR team’s daily activities.
Ideally, you have already had a first successful internship/apprenticeship in an international company as an HR Generalist (recruitment, training etc.)
Ability to work in a multicultural group in which English is the everyday language (even in the Paris office)
Openness, discretion, proactivity
Good communication skills
Familiarity with Excel and Google sheets
Timeframe, location and contact:
This opportunity will take place in the Paris office (close to Saint-Lazare station) and will be supervised by Charlotte Vidal, HR Officer (email@example.com).
If it’s an internship, a period of 6 months will be ideal.
Start date : September 2021.
