Head of OINIS Morocco (OBS/OINIS)

OINIS

OINIS (Orange International Networks, Infrastructures and services) is the international entity responsible for the design, deployment, operation and protection of Orange international networks.

OINIS acts for the activities of the two divisions WIN and OBS with resources dedicated to each of these divisions: 

- For OBS, deployment and operation of the network for the benefit of Enterprise customers in France and abroad

- For WIN, deploying and operating the network in support of the group's Wholesales customers and the group's internal needs (Group affiliates)

In parallel and within the WIN (wholesale and International networks) division, OINIS also assumes the functions of Technical and IT Department. OINIS is also in charge of the division's security governance as well as the operational security of its networks and infrastructures.

Scope of the position

We are looking for the head of OINIS new site in Morocco. You’ll be in charge of of the set up and management of a new site for one of the most important entities of Orange.

Missions

As head of OINIS site in Morocco, you will be in charge of managing the different OINIS teams in Morocco, making sure, in sync with their functional managers that all the conditions are met to accomplish their mission.

Activities

As part of your mission, you are responsible and accountable for:

• The ramp up of the site
• Coordinating the recruitments with local HR and making sure the right profiles are hired
• The on boarding development and retention of the freshly recruited employees
• The creation of a strong site spirit, feeling of belonging and cohesion
• Promoting OINIS values: Autonomy, self-initiative, agility and Thoroughness
• Being creative and experimenting with the team new agile and disruptive ways of working
• Working with OINIS managers to identify new opportunities and activities to be created in the site
• Managing the relationship with hosting entity (OBS) regarding logistic, IT and HR support
• Managing the relationship with Sofrecom who develops part of our IT services
• Promoting OINIS activities internally and externally

Skills & competencies

Engineering degrees or Business degrees +7/10 Years IT or Telecommunications. Leadership preferably managing multiple teams with strong agile experience.

Soft skills –  Leadership, communication, negotiation skills, conflict resolution competencies, flexibility, agility, benefice and goal focus and ability to work in technical and changing environment.

Technical – this person will be the hierarchical manager of several technical teams. He should have an overall comprehension of all the technical activities (IT, transmission networks, Voice and Data networks, Software development) and the ability to understand the strategy of the entity and make sure all the teams are aligned with it.

Financial – you’ll be in charge of optimizing the budget and ensuring a best in class efficiency of the site

People management – this position is at the head of a team of about 100 people by 2021 (around 8/10 people in direct report), all the teams will be functionally reporting to managers located in France. Solid management experience is required.

Program Management – In addition of managing the ramp up of the OINIS activity in Morocco, you will be directly in charge of transversal projects including the setup of new activities and the identification of new opportunities for the site. Project/program management experience is required for this position.
