The job requires a taste for experimentation and exploration, as well as advocacy.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Explore and evaluate usability of various parts of our technology (languages, compilers, verification tools) on various use cases

  • Develop workflows and documentation to improve user experience;

  • Interact with AdaCore technical team to suggest and promote improvements to the tools;

  • Develop tutorials and demos, present and promote these in various forums;

  • Develop scripts and libraries to help newcomers to the technology and bridge adoption gaps.

Qualifications :

  • You must be self-taught and have 3-5 years of experience with software development;

  • You have a good understanding of compilation toolchains (compiler, linker, assembler) and how the various tools work together;

  • You are comfortable with UNIX system and working from a command-line interface;

  • You are comfortable writing in English technical information;

  • You can set your own priorities and are able to learn by yourself complex environments;

  • You are interested in joining a geographically-distributed team, and be able to undertake the occasional travel for face-to-face meetings or on-site customer visits.

The following are not mandatory but are considered a plus:

  • A good understanding of Ada and SPARK;

  • Experience using the Python programming language;

  • You have some experience working with C++;

  • Experience developing and contributing to Free Software or Open Source projects.
