AdaCore is seeking a talented and highly-motivated Sales Manager for our European Region.

Role and responsibilities:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Hiring, training and providing professional development for the sales team
  • Setting and presenting monthly and quarterly sales goals for the team
  • Generating reports to track sales and goals
  • Evaluating sales practices and processes to see if they are having the desired impact
  • Help the team to identify and focus on strategic sales opportunities through construction of strategic account management plans
  • Help the team build sales strategies and tactics to build revenue and footprint in their accounts
  • Direct handling of strategic accounts 
  • Helping the preparation and validation of non-standard proposals
  • Helping the team construct framework contracts for strategic accounts

Background and Skills:

  • 7 - 10 years sales management experience, preferably with a B2B software company
  • Experience of and enthusiasm for, working in the Aerospace & Defense industry
  • Knowledge of French Aerospace & Defense industry is a major plus
  • Ability to travel and visit EU military customers on site
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers, prospects, and the sales team
  • French first language, fluent English essential, German a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and working knowledge of Salesforce
