You will work with a carefully selected, diverse and globally distributed team from customer success, engineering, data science, design, product and more. We are highly motivated and aligned in our quest to disrupt the multi-billion dollar ad-tech industry.

We would like you to be part of our journey, as our Business Development Manager/Lead - Retargeting (m/f/d).


The Role

As our first Business Developer dedicated to Retargeting prospects, you will report directly to our CEO. You will be working closely with our marketing team, our customer success team and have regular interactions with our product and tech teams (e.g. data science, data analytics and product management). Your primary focus will be evangelizing our retargeting offering with mobile app developers on a global scale. You will be focusing on the industry’s top players, who have the strategic priority, skills and resources to take programmatic ad buying in-house. Apart from your primary focus, we expect you to have a growth mindset on contributing to Kayzen’s success.

Since our CEO is based in Berlin and other key customer success team members are located globally, we are open to a remote setup of this position.



  • Identify, structure and execute deals with App Developers who have a strong interest and capability in running self-serve mobile programmatic retargeting campaigns in-house

  • Focus on outbound deals, attend virtual and physical industry events and represent Kayzen as a strong player in running app retargeting campaigns in the market

  • Expand our team’s knowledge of market trends, insights and customer viewpoints to inform strategic decisions such as product roadmap, team focus and more

  • Closely work with our Co-Founders and marketing team in evangelizing the unique benefits of Kayzen

  • Participate in product meetings and help build out our roadmap based on your insights into market and client needs 


Key Qualifications 

  • Proven track record of building a pipeline of prospects and closing deals with game and app developers, preferably for a company focused on retargeting

  • 3+ years of experience in adtech and programmatic with a deep understanding of technologies, business models, industry players and the larger competitive environment

  • Proven experience in managing contract negotiations with multiple stakeholders and legal departments

  • Outstanding oral and written English communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with Growth, Product and Engineering Teams to drive the business forward

  • Ability to quickly understand complex problems and find smart solutions to solve them, both individually and within a cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds
