Job description:
AdaCore is seeking a talented and highly-motivated Account Manager for our Central European Region. As an Account Manager you will utilize your sales skills to grow our existing customer base and develop new ones. Based in Germany and working as part of the EU team, you will collaborate with marketing, sales administration, inside sales, technical account managers and product managers to foster AdaCore's overall growth strategy.
This position can be based in our Dresden office or working remotely anywhere in Germany.
The Account Manager will be required to travel within the German region to visit prospects and customers and also to Paris especially during the integration period.
The Account Manager will be responsible for:
cultivating and expanding existing business and client relationships,
ensuring a high retention rate amongst our existing customers,
handling incoming leads from pricing requests and marketing activities,
growing existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling opportunities,
establishing new business relationships,
contributing to team revenue objectives.
Qualifications:
5 - 8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with a tech company
technical understanding of critical software development and certification
experience working in the aerospace & defense industry with an established network in the DACH region
strong business development capability
ability to travel and visit EU military customers on site
experience and working knowledge of Salesforce
German first language, fluent English essential
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
