Role Overview
The Enterprise Tooling Team Lead bridges technical execution and strategic business operations. In this role, you will lead a distributed engineering team responsible for administering, evolving, and securing AdaCore’s commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) SaaS platforms and internal services—including Salesforce, customer portals, CMS, and ticketing integrations. You will balance hands-on architecture and technical oversight with team management, stakeholder alignment, and resource prioritization across non-engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a distributed technical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Direct day-to-day operations, sprint planning, task estimation, and resource allocation to balance competing business priorities.
  • Conduct performance reviews, drive professional development, and promote knowledge-sharing practices across the team.
  • Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with cross-functional non-engineering stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations) to translate business needs into robust technical requirements and tooling roadmaps.
  • Define and own the roadmap for Enterprise Tooling platforms, aligning tool adoption and evolution with broader company objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor management, licensing, and SaaS evaluation.

Technical Oversight & Governance

  • Provide technical direction for cloud-based platforms, APIs, automation workflows, and data migration/synchronization pipelines (primarily Python-based).
  • Oversee the health, performance, security, and scalability of key enterprise systems, including Salesforce, corporate web platforms, and customer portals.
  • Drive operational excellence, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code principles for software updates and deployments.
  • Deploy modern AI workflows and automated solutions to optimize internal tooling efficiency and user experience.
  • Enforce data governance, security best practices, and secure access controls across corporate web properties and SaaS environments.
  • Qualifications

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a distributed environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with demonstrated success managing conflicting priorities and negotiating deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of translating complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • High degree of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.

Technical & Domain Experience

  • Strong background in SaaS platform administration and enterprise COTS tooling (CRM/Salesforce, CMS, Ticketing/ITSM systems).
  • Solid hands-on experience in web architecture, scripting, API integrations (REST/GraphQL), databases, and cloud security best practices.
  • Proficiency with Python for automation, internal service development, and system integrations.
  • Direct experience with data architecture, ETL processes, and cross-platform data synchronization.
