Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly closing process and budget cycle, ensuring reporting is accurate, well-documented, and delivered on schedule
  • Act as a proficient user of NetSuite to ensure accounting data quality feeding into reporting and models
  • Work closely with the accounting and procurement teams to track key providers
  • Create and maintain financial reports with full actuals-vs-budget and actuals-vs-forecast variance analysis, backed by clear, data-driven explanations.
  • Lead data automation, and AI initiatives to reduce manual reporting effort and improve reliability of recurring deliverables
  • Leverage accounting data to drive operational efficiency and profitability by recommending process, policy, or cost structure improvements.
  • As a member of the global Finance and Accounting team, participate in the definition of objectives and key results for the team
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy: identify issues and propose solutions proactively

Requirements

  • Master's degree in finance or accounting
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a financial control, audit, or accounting role
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, MS Office, and G Suite; working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP is a plus
  • Strong track record of producing clean, well-documented, auditable financial reporting
  • Good communication skills, sense of confidentiality, and comfort working autonomously with senior stakeholders
