Data Engineer Ingestion Administrateur

Mission :

The enterprise Data Hub (EDH) is a data lake ensuring data security and privacy. EDH offers data management capabilities such as data ingestion, enriched B2B objects, a data catalog, ...

Based on a Big Data platform, EDH offers the opportunity to industrialize Big data projects and/or display reports taking benefits of the power of storage and high treatment capacity of the cluster big data.

To reinforce our capacity of ingestion, we are looking for an ingest administrator. 

Having a good quality of ingestion is essential, so  this mission is important and is a strong pre-requisite for the successful of the next steps.

Your role:

As ingestion administrator, you are at the beginning of the EDH workflow, and you will be responsible to :

• interact with the PO to identify and to appropriate the requirements
• develop in AGILE mode interfaces to ingest data into the data lake using our data ingestion tools(FAST).
• test the interfaces with data source (campaign UAT and test validation)
• roll-out the developments in production respecting following CAB preconization and being synchronized with the run team
• do L3 support when it’s necessary.
• update the documentation
• Interface contact redaction with partners

• Knowledge of interface best practices and concept
• Data management principles
• Ability to analyze and synthesize
• Good spoken and written English
• Curious, Autonomous, rigorous and organized
• Team work

Having a good knowledge on the following topics would be greatly appreciated:

• Basic Big Data concept ( Hive,Streaming concept/Kafka/ topics/Brokers,Nifi,Hue/ Oozie,Spark jobs sizing,,Hadoop HDFS shell command, … )
• knowledge of the Orange Business SI
• having a 1st successful data management experience inAGILE environment
